STACK & TOWER MELTING FURNACES
Stack furnaces, which are also referred to as tower melters, or shaft melting furnaces, are large volume aluminum gas melting furnaces. There are two types of such furnaces. The smaller version is called a mini or micro stack melting furnace and is used as a dedicated furnace besides a die casting machine, or in places where space is an important consideration. The larger full-size version is used as a central melting furnace for larger casting operations.
